Who warehousing is for
Storage that sits where the trucks already do.
Inventory waiting on a release date. Project freight staged for construction draws. Overflow that needs to go somewhere before the season hits. Our Lilburn facility holds it — and the same team that stores it can put it back on a trailer when you’re ready.

Why Comet for warehousing
The storage is the easy part. Getting it back on the road is the value.
Most warehouses store. Most carriers ship. We do both at one address — so when your release date hits, there’s no second BOL, no second pickup window, no second phone tree. Same dispatcher, same dock, same paperwork system.

Common questions
Before you call, in case it helps.
-
Do you offer short-term and long-term storage?
Both — from overflow staging measured in days to long-term pallet storage. Release freight on your schedule, whether that’s a construction draw schedule or retail sell-through.
-
Can you pick and pack orders?
Yes — optional pick-and-pack fulfillment alongside storage, so inventory can ship in the quantities your customers actually order.
-
What makes your warehousing different?
It sits next to our own carrier capacity, so freight coming out of storage can go straight back on a truck from the same team — no separate carrier hand-off.
