Comet National began in September 1992 when founder John Souter left a career in transportation determined to do things differently. He had seen how the industry operated — the shortcuts, the indifference, the broken promises — and he believed shippers deserved better.
What started in Snellville, GA with a single focus — be the most reliable, most transparent freight partner a shipper could find — grew into a multi-mode operation covering the entire country. The team changed. The building changed. The core promise never did.
